Our trip to Mexico was brought to us by the Norris and Young family wanting us to capture their celebration of marriage at the JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort

Finding it hard to pass up such fun people, locations, and running away from Utah, we packed our bags and were off.

Landing late, we rushed to the hotel where the rehearsal dinner and ceremony were already being set up.

After a night of celebration, we headed back to our room for as much sleep as we could get before the day ahead.

I won’t get into the details of everything that happened that day, because it can be summed up into one sentence:  it was a busy wedding day.

10 hours later and one final celebratory cocktail later, we drag our battered and dehydrated bodies into our room to pass out.

We had one final day in the Baja to spend as we pleased, so after a quick morning of eggs and goodbyes, our paths took us to East Cape Beach.  Still in a bit of a daze, we walked down the beach, then plunged into the water, letting the waves crush us against the sandbar, laughing and screaming, letting go of the stress of the day before.

Hopping back in the car, we headed to Chileno Beach for some snorkeling. The beach itself didn’t have good snorkeling, but to the west was some great rocks which hosted beautiful eels, fish, and pufferfish.

Exhausted by this time, we check into our hotel at Solmar Resort

After resting and backing up the wedding to an external hard drive, we spend the rest of the evening on the Solmar Beach.

As we head into town once the sun sets for dinner, we realize its Superbowl Sunday and our hopes for a quiet dinner was squashed. We retreated to Lighthouse, a restaurant on the harbor.

One more bottle of champagne for the road, our night was spent relaxing at our hotel.  The trip ends here with one last lunch at Tacos Gardenias. Easily the best place we ate, with fresh authentic Baja tacos and fresh food.
